MISSIONS REPORT
    We are praising the Lord for the tremendous outpouring of His Holy Spirit on the lives and ministry of our Indigenous Missionaries in the 10/40 Window. We have just finished calculating the II Quarter efforts or our men and the Spiritual Fruit as given only by God and are glad to share that they evangelized 348 villages, planted 147 new House-Churches and Home Bible Studies and witnessed 2,410 professions of faith.  The harvest truly is great.
   God has answered our prayer and led us to the perfect man for the task of evangelizing the ten thousand Burmese Buddhists in the Ayeyarwady (Irrawaddy) Riverside Slum at Mandalay, Myanmar that by Divine Providence I “stumbled” upon last October. His name is Zaw Myinth Aye and is a native of the area so he knows it, these Burmese people, their culture, their customs and their language perfectly well for he is one of them.  He is 44 years of age, is a Bible School Graduate, has already planted 3 churches, has been working in the current area for 4 years planting his present church of 45 members plus is evangelizing in 4 other villages with two Home-Bible Study groups (embryonic churches) already established. He has recently gone into the Riverside Slum area and has the same burden as we and has committed to at least two days of ministry per week to these greatly impoverished people. God has already blessed us with partial support and a new 125cc Motorbike for him. I have attached several related pictures and documents below.
    Bro. Go Lian Pau, FIP’s Nat. Dir. of Myanmar, writes: “Concerning Bro. Zaw Myint Aye's Relief Effort plan is a very good plan to start the ministry with those slum people. This morning he told me that "even though I have nothing in my hands to help these people, I have a BIG VISION AND BURDEN for these people who never heard about Christ even one time in their lives. I must sacrifice my life for these people. I am ready. Please stand with me in prayers and consider to help the needs for this particular ministry."

The estimate cost are as follows;
•50 Bags of rice – Ks. 2,050,000  (105 lbs. bags at $35.65 each)
•200 Kg of cooking oils – Ks. 700,000   ($3.00 each)
•200 mosquito nets - Ks. 2,500,000  ($5,75 each)
Total – 5,250,000 MMK ks
Also, Bro. Aye told me that if the Lord provides the needed funds, I want to do this Relief Effort Ministry even in right now. The gospel urgent for these people. “

    As an act of practical Christian love to give this ministry a strong “jump start”, would you prayerfully consider providing some of the needed “gifts of love” above? When sending a report back to John who was in prison in Mat. 11:5, Jesus fulfills the prophecy in Isaiah 35:4-6 and adds “…and the poor have the gospel preached to them.” Why? Because they are the most responsive to such acts of love and mercy.  If you would like to help with this Evangelistic Outreach, make your checks out to Faith International Partners, FOR:  (Rice or Oil or Mosquito Nets) for Slum and mail it to Faith International Partners, c/o Metro Baptist Church, 322 East Cedar St., Goodlettsville, TN 37072 by Sept. 30th and 100% of it will be sent in early October.
     Please forward this to others and help us spread the “Good News”…and the NEED.
